Christopher Wierling works at the intersection of cultural studies and artistic practice as a curator and cultural worker in Berlin.

Since 2022, he has been part of the curatorial team at Gropius Bau. Together with Jenny Schlenzka and Yasmil Raymond, he co-curated the exhibition Rirkrit Tiravanija: DAS GLÜCK IST NICHT IMMER LUSTIG (2024) and, most recently, with Hendrik Folkerts the Berlin iteration of Vaginal Davis: Magnificent Product (2025), organized by Moderna Museet, Stockholm, in collaboration with Gropius Bau and MoMA PS1, New York.

With Julia Grosse, he is currently working on Dabei sein und nicht schweigen, the largest exhibition to date by the artist Gabriele Stötzer. Previously, Wierling developed discursive and performative mediation formats for Haus der Kulturen der Welt and the Berlin Biennale 12. In 2020/21, he contributed as producer and dramaturg to the immersive installation Absorption by artist Asad Raza.
