Photographer Pavel Paul (1936) was employed at the Academy of Fine Arts between 1959 and 2000. During his forty years at school, he created tens of thousands of photos. He managed to document official and informal moments as well as historical and everyday events of the Academy. His archive was considered destroyed for many years. Since its discovery in 2019, more than 12,000 negatives have been restored, digitized and identified. Through a small fraction of photographs that have not yet been published or presented, the exhibition will try to tell the story of the oldest art school in the Czech Republic in a linear way.
