The Cake is a Lie
The group exhibition The Cake is a Lie presents the perspectives of two generations of Czech and Slovak artists, whose work oscillates between aspiration and its limits.

Through objects and artifacts, it explores the aestheticization of work and rituals of consumption. It also highlights the everyday demands of symbolic conformity and the need for repetitive performance of consent to a gender- and class-structured social situation.
