The publication focuses on so-called “troubled” landscapes—sites affected by extraction, industrial activity, or environmental degradation. Through a critical analysis of contemporary spatial planning, the authors explore alternative ways of reading, representing, and designing these environments as sustainable, more-than-human spaces. The collective works across architecture, landscape architecture, urbanism, and artistic research. Their approach understands space as a network of relationships, processes, and dynamics, opening new perspectives for spatial practice.
The lecture will include a presentation of the book as well as selected research projects.
