Viktor Fuček is an urban shaman, healer, or performer who uses ritual to explore the awareness of shared environments. He creates images, objects, installations, and performances to push the boundaries of what is commonly perceived as architecture and urbanism, demonstrating how experimental approaches can help find new strategies to address contemporary social issues.
The artist talk will be followed on Thursday, February 8 and Friday, February 9 by an intensive two-day workshop for students, which Viktor Fuček called the Psychosomatic Spatial Exploration workshop. It will run daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (with an hour for lunch between 1 and 2 p.m.) If interested, please contact Darina Alster of the New Media 2 studio.
A lively public event called ECHOing will follow on Friday 9 February from 6 pm.
