MgA. Jan Vidlička is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the New Media I studio. He works at the Academy of Fine Arts as an academic staff member of the Digital Laboratory. He focuses on audiovisual production. He teaches moving image work, editing and post-production. He assists in the streaming and production of AVU audiovisual content.

Jan Vidlička also works as a freelance cinematographer and editor for arts and non-profit organizations (https://vidlicka.com/). He is one of the founding members of the Artyčok.tv project, which deals with the creation of artistic audiovisual works, authorial documentary production and documentation (https://artycok.tv/cs). He is a member of Prototype Studio which is a platform for artistic and curatorial collaboration in the fields of contemporary art, focusing primarily on the creative process, its mapping, experience and transformation through it.
