Lessons

As part of an optional core module, Digilab offers training in commonly used computer software for video, audio, and 2D and 3D graphics. Digilab also organises workshops and courses featuring external lecturers. In cooperation with the studio heads Digilab assistants provide help during workshops and doctoral presentations, and participate in the tuition of preparatory courses for the first year of the intermedia and new-media studios. The digital laboratory possesses recording and presentational technology (cameras, film cameras, tripods, audio recorders, projectors, TV, etc.) that students and employees can borrow by means of the online reservation system.

Space

The Digilab workplace is located on the ground floor of the School of Architecture of AVU. The main space is equipped with PCs that can be used by students outside of class time. If you need to work on a project outside Digilab's opening hours, you can request an activation card for access to the PC.

The Digilab studio is a smaller space next to the PC classroom. The studio is used for teaching and realizations (photography, recording, VR). Learners can arrange to book the studio for the realization of their work. The studio is equipped with backgrounds and reflectors.
