Slavomíra Ondrušová is a graduate of the s_m_l_XL KOV and ŠPERK studios at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava in the MA (2012) and PhD (2019) programmes. During her studies at the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn, she worked at the Estonian Academy of Arts in 2013–2014 as a doctoral student, and during her studies at VŠVU she also completed an exchange stay at Hochschule Pforzheim – Fakultät für Gestaltung in Germany.

Slavomíra Ondrušová’s work ranges between drawing, text, object, with overlapping into other media. She is interested in the process of materialization and materialization of drawing into space, as well as the process of drawing itself.

She exhibits individually in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Estonia, and participates in group exhibitions. She works as an occasional lecturer at the Estonian Academy of Arts in Tallinn, Slovak Technical University in Bratislava. She is also engaged in illustration and educational activities in the field of visual arts, she is a co-founder of X Magazine.
