Open Call: Skills Sharing and Development
The call is open to AVU students of all years and study programmes and is intended to support peer-to-peer activities that create opportunities for sharing knowledge and skills and for mutual reflection. The aim is to develop ways of acquiring knowledge beyond standard teaching and to support courses, seminars and other formats for sharing experience and skills among students. Existing initiatives may also apply under this call.

Applications must be submitted using the online form below. Applications may be submitted from 20. 10. to 20. 11. 2026.
The application must include a description of the proposal, a proposed budget, the implementation dates and the names of the responsible team or individual.
Funding is intended for projects implemented during the 2026/2027 academic year, no later than September 30, 2027.
Under this Open Call, you may apply for funding of up to 10 000 CZK.
Funding will be paid in the form of a stipend.
What is the call intended for?
The call is intended to support peer-to-peer activities that create opportunities for sharing knowledge and skills and for mutual reflection. The aim is to develop ways of acquiring knowledge beyond standard teaching and to support courses, seminars and other formats for sharing experience and skills among students.
Who can apply for funding?
Only AVU students whose studies have not been suspended may apply, and they must remain enrolled as students throughout the entire duration of the activity.
How large should the project team be?
The project team may consist of one to three people and must include one contact person who will be responsible for communicating with the call coordinator and distributing the funds.
What are the assessment criteria?
The contribution to developing knowledge and skills through peer-to-peer activities; the feasibility of the proposal; the formal preparedness and clarity of the application; its conformity with the focus of the call; and the appropriateness and structure of the budget.
When can I carry out the planned trip or other activity?
The project, including submission of the final report, must be completed by the end of the academic year in which the application was submitted.

You can submit the final report via the online form above, no later than 30 days after the end of the project.
What is the maximum amount of funding?
The maximum amount of funding available under this call is CZK 10,000.
Where and when can I find the results of the selection process?
The results will be published on the Open Call website during December.
What can the funding be used to cover?
Non-capital material costs, service costs (e.g. equipment rental), personnel costs and stipends for lecturers / guests / teachers, remuneration of the project team (stipends).
