MgA. Julius Reichel

Julius Reichel is an intermedia artist whose work explores and questions the medium of the hanging image. He deals with the border between image and object as well as installation situations, he is interested in the handmade and the visuality of the internet.

Julius Reichel studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, then (2017) graduated from UMPRUM in the studio of J. David. He exhibits individually, but also as part of the Black Hole Generation group (e.g. David Krňanský, Martin Lukáš, Namor Ynrobyv). He has exhibited in solo exhibitions in the Czech Republic (e.g. Karpuchina Gallery, NOD), but also in Germany, France, Poland, Slovakia. He has participated in a number of group exhibitions in the Czech Republic (e.g. in galleries Kvalitář, 8smička, Berlinská model), but also abroad. He is the first Czech artist to be included in the Binance NFT crypto exchange called 100 Creators.
