Shitzine

The publication is conceived as a collection of short stories, personal accounts and micro-stories exploring the theme of defecation in human life, supplemented by illustrations, graphic elements and brief commentaries reflecting on the themes of physicality and shame, with an emphasis on the humorous, embarrassing and awkward situations associated with this natural need. The texts form a mosaic of personal experiences that are often taboo, yet universally shared. The publication approaches the subject with a light-hearted touch and a touch of hyperbole, whilst at the same time highlighting the boundaries of intimacy and sharing. It aims to entertain, but also to offer space for a more open approach to the body and its expressions.
