Batu Bozoglu (1983) is an artist focusing on interactive and participatory artworks within the field of performance art, with projects focusing on the human psyche's response to national, personal and historical traumas. Drawing inspiration from archives, diaries, and correspondences, these works present live platforms where trauma can be revisited, reevaluated, and shared in novel ways. Most of his projects offer concrete systems of communication and expression layered on the artist's everyday life, through which willing participants can interact, exploit, disrupt, and claim as their own. As an academic, his research focuses on war trauma and its impact on art during WWI and especially on the Dada Movement, and politics of participation in live art. His works are performed and exhibited in shows in and around Turkey, USA, Italy, and Taiwan. Bozoglu is a member of the Performistanbul Collective, and lives and works in Istanbul.https://www.performistanbul.org/
