LARGE AVU / The Laboratory for Art, Research and Graduate Education at AVU
LARGE is a department that represents and supports artistic research activities at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague while at the same time developing platforms for interdisciplinary exchanges, within a national and international context. LARGE is dedicated to exploring what it means to investigate not about art but in and through art: how this investigation can be carried out, how it can produce knowledge and in what relationship this knowledge finds itself to other disciplines, and to a broader social context.
