Under Section 12 of the Higher Education Act, the AVU Artistic Board discusses the draft strategic (long-term) plan and its annual implementation plan, the draft quality assurance rules and the draft internal quality assessment report, the rector’s plans to appoint or recall members of the internal assessment board (if such exists), the draft annual report and draft annual financial report. It approves the curricula and any plan to submit an application for accreditation, expansion or extension. It oversees proceedings for the appointment of a professor and habilitation proceedings, and expresses an opinion regarding matters brought to its attention by the rector.
