The Academic Senate is one of the self-governing academic bodies. Its activities are set forth in Sections 8 and 9 of the Higher Education Act and the Electoral Rules of the AVU Academic Senate. The Senate approves internal regulations, the budget, the annual report and annual financial report, the internal quality assurance report, and the strategic (long-term) plan and its annual implementation plan.
