Research Board

In accordance with Article 10, Paragraph 1 of the AVU Statutes, the Research Board is an advisory body to the rector.
It participates in creating a long-term vision for the development of AVU's research activities, monitors the quality and results of ongoing projects, and recommends support for new initiatives. It particularly makes sure that the school's strategy responds to the recommendations of international evaluations and corresponds with current trends in research in theory and artistic practice. The board decides on the allocation of funds aimed for research and ensures that they are used in accordance with the strategic priorities of AVU. It strives to provide independent, critical, and forward-looking input that supports the high quality and visibility of research and creative practice at the Academy.
The activities of the Research Board are governed by the Rules of Procedure of the AVU Research Board.
