Psychological Services
The counselling service is available free of charge to all students and staff at the school. The psychologist is a member of the Bohemian-Moravian Psychological Society and the Czech Association for Psychotherapy, and meets the requirements for the continuing professional development of psychologists.
Employees
psychological diagnosis (a comprehensive assessment of the level and structure of intellectual abilities and the identification of strengths and the full use thereof)
study and work counselling (adaptation to university studies, assistance in creating a study plan, coping with the burden of studies and work, the prevention of failure, counselling for students with special needs, prevention of burnout)
psychotherapy (personal development, self-awareness, assistance with emotional problems and interpersonal relationships, interpersonal communication, self-assertiveness, coping with difficult situations)
AVU is a member of the Association of University Advisors. This is a voluntary, non-profit, independent, special-interest organisation. The Association brings together academics and other employees at universities who provide academic, psychological, special pedagogical and professional advisory services, including related consultation, information and facilitation services to university students, candidates for admission, and other clients. The association is a legal entity with nationwide competence.
