This department is responsible for facility management at AVU. It oversees the operations of workshops and the maintenance and procurement of materials, services and equipment for individual departments and studios. It also manages transport services and the administration of the card entry system.

AVU has its own Iveco van with a total capacity of 2.2 tons and a hydraulic lift for transporting artworks and materials. Though the vehicle is mainly used by AVU, a transport order can be placed by outside parties as part of additional activities.
