The IT Department is responsible for developing and delivering all IT services. The department is responsible for the IT systems development strategy, IT security policy, and collaboration on the preparation of investment plans in the IT sector and other grant-funded projects; it coordinates and supervises the external network management contractor and oversees the administration, operation, maintenance and security of AVU’s information systems, including communication with the providers of these services.
Employees
It is now possible to submit requests or report and resolve issues relating to the operation of IT equipment and services at AVU, or to deal with any other technical requests, from anywhere. All you need to do is send a message describing your request to: helpdesk@avu.cz.
The AVU has a mail server based on Microsoft Exchange technology.
You can connect via ActiveSync, MAPI or HTTPS. You can set up your account in your email client provided it supports at least one of these protocols.
The most common method is to access it via the web. The address is: https://outlook.office.com
Use the same login details you received from the university network.
Your username is in the format: firstname.surname
Followed by your password.
You can also add your account to your mobile phone.
